His philosophy was adopted from the Titleist Performance Institute and simply states: “We don’t believe there is one way to swing a club. We believe there are an infinite number of ways to swing a club. However, we do believe there is one efficient way for all golfers to swing a club & it is based on what they can physically do.”

Derek was the first professional in Northern Colorado to open a state of the art indoor learning and performance center using the latest technology in the industry. Golf Dynamics currently uses the V1 software platform, the Foresight GC2 launch monitor, K-Vest 3D wireless technology, and the V1 Branded Academy where students can access recorded video of their swings 24/7 from their computers and smart phones. Derek has taught approximately 35,000 lessons during his career.  He is excited to work with all levels of players, from the beginner, intermediate and advanced.  He has worked with hundreds of junior players and has built a recognized competitive base among them.  He has had many junior girls and boys play at the collegiate level as well.  Derek is dedicated to make sure all his clients achieve success and he has a strong willingness to make sure all his students have positive results.
